The Revue économique is a peer-reviewed academic journal published six times per year. It covers formal economics and other social sciences including history and sociology. Articles are in French or English.

The Revue économique is published by the Fondation Nationale des Sciences Politiques (FNSP), with the support of the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique and the École des hautes études en sciences sociales.[1] Each May's issue draws from presentations at the annual congress of the Association française de science économique (French Society of Economic Science).[2]

The impact factor of the Revue économique has been estimated to be .272. The estimate did not specify a year to which it applies.[3]

History

The first issue of the Revue économique came out in May, 1950. Founders included economic historian Fernand Braudel[4] and Albert Aftalion who presided over the journal's board of directors ("comité de direction").[5] Through 1977, the journal was published by Librarie Armand Colin, and since 1978 by the Presses de Sciences Po.[6]
